Koha 3.2 installation & translations

Hi all, I saw en/fr/ru/uk subfolders in installer/data/mysql/. I've made local copy of en folder, renamed it to pl-PL and translated some files (txt files and sql for marc default & BKS frameworks so far). After make install the pl-PL folder is copied over to KOHA_DIR\intranet/cgi-bin/installer/data/mysql/ but I need to install polish opac & stuff templates before running the web installer for pl choice to be available at first step (I'm running 3.2). So - two matters: 1. Whom do I have to be nice to to get pl-PL folder included in git? ;-) Are there any prequisities? 2. Having all languages' templates created and available after installing Koha is cool (and necessary for localized web installer), but it lengthens make and make install time a LOT. Can the language selection be made in Makefile.PL, so choosing other than English language would create only one set of directories/templates? What do you think? Piotr Wejman

Problem with notification sending by koha

Hello all. I am using KOHA 3.0.3. I have installed it without using CPAN. I have set up the notifications format, notification rules and cron jobs for notifications but I'm unable to send the notifications. I have sendmail up and working. Moreover, the same cron calculates the fines very well. I have tried to run overdue_message.pl and process_messages.pl manually. They give me no errors and no results as well. Should I set up a mail server inorder to be enable to use the mailing functions of KOHA? I am currently using it on a system with Private IP. Should I use a system with Public IP??? Please Help. Help needed in KOHA 3.0.3

Hello all. I am using KOHA 3.0.3 on my Debian machine. I wanted to modify the search behaviour of the search "Call Number" field. In my case the Call Number is the field "060a" but by default KOHA uses "082a", I guess. So is it possible to change the call number source??? Another thing I wanted to ask is that is it possible to set up a z39.50 server for my library. I mean that we are hosting about 10 libraries and we want our libraries can import the catalogs from one another as similar to z39.50, how can that be possible??? Hi, is it possible to include various others web pages in default Koha system? I mean, i want to add some link there in my Koha 3.0.4 system and those links will be for my own designed web pages. Is it possible in Koha? -- Best, Zico

koha doku wiki, SQL report error

Dear all, I've begun using the SQL report repository, and have run into an error on "previous month items created" (http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=sql_library) Any clues?! ERROR: Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Reports/Guided.pm line 412. Here's the SQL: SELECT count(items.itemnumber) as ItemsCreated FROM items WHERE items.dateaccessioned >= concat(date_format(LAST_DAY(now() - interval 1 month),'%Y-%m-'),'01') AND items.dateaccessioned ⇐ LAST_DAY(now() - interval 1 month) I did change the special character to "<=" and still received the error. MARC21slim2intranetDetail.xsl

Hi All -- I've noticed with the latest updates to 3.01.00.100 there is no copy of MARC21slim2intranetDetail.xsl in my copy of koha. I do see the UNIMARCslim2intranetDetail.xsl file and I see this is the same at http://git.koha.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=Koha;a=tree;f=koha-tmpl/intranet-t… . So, my question is - is anyone currently working on this or have a file ready to submit to git? If not I can start working on this and get something into the patches list/git so that others can start updating and correcting it. Zebra indexing

im still having trouble with my pubdate indexing. record.abs says its indexed as year, and numeric... but find @attr 4=109 @attr 2=4 1983 fails with "Relation not supported". Question about using icu

A BIG thanks to Henri for suggesting that we try using icu to resolve our diacritic issues. The good news is that this worked great on our development server with about 30 records. The bad news is that when I go to reindex zebra on our production server the process fails to commit. The production server currently has about 2000 records at this time. Any ideas or suggestions. koha 3.0.4 + cannot delete extra libraries with their names

Hi, i want to delete some extra libraries from my koha system. Then, i could delete three from GUI; Koha-> Administration-> Libraries & Groups. But, there are more two including default "My library". Then i went to mysql an tried to delete those two library names, which are as sub-branch; but, i cannot delete those. Error shows: * mysql + #1451 - Cannot delete or update a parent row: a foreign key constraint fails* -- Best, Zico
