Patron Import

Good Morning All I am trying to do my Patron import but I think I am missing something. I did a practice install and I remember the import link/page but when I redid the install from scratch I can't seem to find it. Reading another post it says it should be on the Tools link at the top of the page. But when that page comes up there is no link. Any ideas? Importing Data

Good Afternoon Everyone I was able to export my catalog data from Follett and I imported it into Koha with no errors and it confirmed that it added 16k+ records. The problem is when I do a search it isn't returning and listing. Did I miss something? Thanks Ed Edward J. Ed, The NEKLS consortium is on Koha 3 and we just added two Follett libraries to our Koha install this past weekend (http://catalog.nexpresslibrary.org/) I have documented the process of getting the data files that we sent into the data migration specialists at LibLime and would be happy to share the steps with you or anyone else interested. The process on my end did involve purchasing the proprietary Follett ODBC driver from Follett, as well as using Microsoft Access to create a database file using the ODBC driver to access the Follett database files. I do not know what tools the LibLime migration experts used to actually import data into the Koha database. Maybe someone else on this list can help you with the import steps. KOHA setup for multi-site libraries

Hi, We have four school locations. We would like to use the KOHA Integrated library management system at all these four places. However, we would also like that these systems are integrated, ie each system can display and issue books from it's libraries as well as all the other libraries as well. Also, the student when he/she does a search the results display books availability from all the sites. Typically, the student could request the book from another site as well, which could then be delivered through post/courier. I want to know how where I can get information on setting up KOHA to operate in this manner. thanks kabir.

I'll agree with you. Thinking about it again 6 seconds is pretty bad. I don't know how the authorized_values or icon sets are laid out in the database. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to add the dimensions to the authorized_values. As I recall those are structure something like MARC, so just give some subfield to the dimensions. Having it stored with the iconset would be good too, but I don't know if or where that is in the database. My idea in the beginning was something to this effect. I don't really feel like trying to figure out authorized values right now, but I will look to see if iconsets are kept in the database somewhere other than that. Error when browsing to Koha Admin Page
