Question about behavior of SIP AF Screen Message information

Our Company provides self service software and related products for libraries. We are working with a customer where an unusual situation has occurred and need to understand whether the environment is representative of Koha typical behavior, a problem with a particular release or unique to this customer because it is not something we have seen with other systems nor have any of our Koha users reported problems. We are attempting to help this Koha customer solve a problem. The protocol document describes the use of the screen message (AF) field as text for display to a borrower, typically informative information related to blocks or other reasons why a patron cannot circulate an item. We use AF information to set rules for access to computers and of course for self check out and we display the contents of the AF field to the borrower. Often the text in AF is consistent for given conditions so that the contents are predictable. In this customer's environment there are unique, manually created one-off messages that are obviously intended to be seen only by staff (circulation type information that is not appropriate for a patron to see) embedded in some very lengthy AF fields in the SIP response. It appears that the field is continuously appended with patron-facing and staff-facing text, making the strings quite long and unpredictable. Any insight into this will be appreciated. FIXME in biblio.pm

Good evening, First glitch with 3.06 has appeared: adding an 'item' after importing biblio via z39.50 is functional (it adds the item !!!) but the admin interface gives: Software error: Can't call method "subfield" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Biblio.pm line 3008. Lines 3006-3008 of biblio.pm called from additem.pl: # get title of the record (to store the 10 first letters with the index) my ( $titletag, $titlesubfield ) = GetMarcFromKohaField( 'biblio.title', '' ); # FIXME: should be GetFrameworkCode($biblionumber) ?? $title = lc( $record->subfield( $titletag, $titlesubfield ) ); Before I start looking elsewhere, can someone kindly help me with the use of FIXME comments? tnx and br, Paul

Bugzilla : how to mark a file as obsolete

Hello world, It seems that some of you have problem marking an attachment obsolete without attaching another file. I found how to do that a while ago, so, as I know, I share: * go to the bug * on the attachment line, you've 3 links: "file title/description", "Details" and "Diff". Click on Details * when you're on Details page: click on "Edit Details" (that's what is very hidden !)... Gotcha!!! I can obsolete or un-obsolete or update the comment, or add the patch flag!!! * click "submit" at the end of your patch ! adding fields in XSLT (bug 7332)

Hello, The bug 7332 (http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=7332) add a new (242) field on the XSLT display. The question is: the XSLT does not contain all the fields we have in MARC21, so what must drive the content of XSLT ? Should we accept any patch (and have a huge XSLT at the end) ? Should we refuse any patch -except a bugfix- (and have a basic-but-enough XSLT) An Option between those 2 extreme positions ?
