New signing keys for the Debian packages

From the next Koha release, the signing key for the packages will be changed from its current one to a general package signing key. The ID for this new key is A2E41F10 should you want to use it manually, however to update your servers to accept the new key is simply a matter of running: wget -O- http://debian.koha-community.org/koha/gpg.asc | sudo apt-key add - If you don't do this, then you will get warnings about invalid signatures next time you upgrade the packages. -- Robin Sheat Catalyst IT Ltd. ✆ +64 4 803 2204 GPG: 5957 6D23 8B16 EFAB FEF8 7175 14D3 6485 A99C EB6D

Not able to create wiki page

Dear Friends, When I try to create a a page in Koha wiki, a download window open and ask to save the file "index.php". Why it happen? I am not able to create the page in wiki. ILSDI AuthenticatePatron

Hi everyone, I've just started working on some "connector" code to extend some functionality of our Koha instance by interacting with another web app we use. I'm wanting to authenticate users to their Koha accounts and it seems like using the ILSDI api would be the easiest way, since it would it would allow me to not have to make a direct DB connection. However, looking at the AuthenticatePatron action, I'm not too comfortable passing username and password simply as clear text GET parameters, so I am trying to come up with some ways to avoid this, as it's not very secure. Limiting IP access to the ilsdi.pl probably does not complete resolve this issue, since the username and password will still be captured in the http logs. I am curious what are some of the security measures others are using when using this api? Thanks for any help! Very much appreciated...best, chris fitzpatrick

I'm happy to be volunteer for helping our community. I have been working with Koha for only 1 year, i'm working hard to make Koha become popular in my country. I'm not really good at English. I have a little experience working with Linux system- especially Ubuntu server, web server... Now i don't know what can i do to help, but just want to say, I wanna help. My changing role...

To my friends in the Koha community, I have accepted a position outside the library community, and will be leaving ByWater Solutions as of March 8. It has been an incredible almost-five years for me, working on Koha, and getting to meet so many of you virtually and in-person. I say without reservation that some of my best friends on the planet are Koha people, some of whom I have never met in person. I will continue to serve as Translation Manager for the rest of the 3.12 release cycle; I would like to stay involved in Koha after that, so once I see what my workload will look like, I'll decide whether to run for another term. My role as QAA

Good morning. I recently accepted a job at a local software company, and starting on March 18 I will no longer be working full-time on Koha. I would like to complete my term as QAA, but I may not have as much time to devote to the project and I wanted to make sure there were no objections from the larger Koha community. It has been a pleasure working on Koha, and I look forward to staying in touch for a long to come even if my job prevents me from participating after May. Elliott Davis

biblio.datecreated and biblio.timestamp created but not displayed

hi, When i create a record, biblio.datecreated and biblio.timestamp (099$c 099$d) are well created in the database but not displayed in the marc file. All seems to be ok but we have to add manually the date. I think it's a question of xsl but, in this case, which file can i modify? Best regards, samuel
