receive copies of serials in serial control

Hi allif i have subscription in some serials one of this serials i subscribe in 3 copies how could i identify this 3 copies in the serial control record to receive more than one copy this option is not clear

Hi all! Following StackOverflow sites like askubuntu.com or ask.libreoffice.org, I wonder what you think about using an open source alternative like Askboot (or OSQA, or Coordino) on ask.koha-community.org. For English <http://ask.koha-community.org/en/>ask.koha-community.org/en/, es/ for Spanish, and so on; using the same login as other Koha services like the wiki. I think it's a much better way to solve mortals most common issues. Searching apostrophes

Hi. I know that searching terms with apostrophes has been problematic in the past but we are now seeing a new level of problems and I wondered if anyone has seen the same symptoms and has any advice or workarounds that might help. Searching for an author such as O'Brien brings back almost the whole catalogue if we have QueryAutoTruncate or QueryFuzzy or QueryStemming switched on. With them off: If I search for O<space>Brien in the "simple search" box it brings back all records with either O or Brien (far too many). If I use Advanced Search> Author and search for O Brien then it returns just those with O AND Brien in an author tag (close enough in this case). If I use the "Library Catalog" pull-down to select "Author" and search for O Brien it brings back all records with either O or Brien in an author tag (too many). We also have a problem with linking bibs to authorities which in combination with this issue is giving major headaches. If anyone has any pointers or knows how to get round or over this problem I would love to hear from you. More details on request... We are using Zebra dom indexing and icu chains and are using Koha 3.12 on Debian. We are not yet using QueryParser. Patron Attributes with Password?

I've just been taking a look at the manual again ( http://manual.koha-community.org/3.12/en/patscirc.html#patronattributetypes) and I'm not really understanding what the 'Allow password: Check to make it possible to associate a password with this attribute.' option is actually meant to do when creating a new patron attribute type? I thought it would allow the creation of additional login (username:password) combinations for a user to login to the opac but it doesn't appear to do this (if it was meant to, surely it would need to only be available when the attribute is also set to be unique). Coding guidelines updated with correct license

Hi, I've updated the license section on the coding guidelines wiki page with the correct text to use in source files, now that Koha's license is the GPL 3 or later: http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Coding_Guidelines#Licence As a general reminder, when creating a new source file, please copy the license statement from the wiki, not from an existing source file, and please make sure to set the copyright statement correctly. Permission vs System preference

We are interested at some point in a development that would hide the "Edit items in batch"; "Delete items in batch"; and "Delete all items" options in the Edit menu of the detail.pl page through either a user permission or a system preference. It was suggested I contact the developers list to see what community developers think about this as a permission vs system preference. In our consortial environment, these are not good features to have available to anyone. Right now we have these options hidden through some hardcoding, but of course this has to be added manually after every upgrade by our support vendor. Any thoughts/input would be greatly appreciated.
