Dear Friends, I am in a sad situation. When I try to click on edit button of Koha wiki page, it ask to download a index.php file. So, I could not add the suggestion in Talk page. Please consider my suggestions and add in talk page. 1. Inclusion of too many materials (e.g. Video tutorials) make the DVD big. Inclusion of manual is OK. It will take too much time for download. 2. Addition of Offline client is a nice suggestion. Need to add any other useful small tools (e.g. glabel) ? 3. Chris mentioned about GUI for backup from Koha staff client. This feature available in Koha 3.12 version? 4. We can create a new framework for customized fields. Upgrade to new version shatter this framework? 5. In my opinion Remastersys is good for creating a clone of the system. Simplicity is the main feature. Users can make ISO of the system as a backup using remastersys. Its backup mechanism can retain user settings and the exact environment of the master PC. Regards, -- Vimal Kumar V. Opinions needed on bug 9322

I'm really not sure what the best solution is here - opinions? http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=9322 I think we do not want to lose any data regarding transfers, no matter how weird or nonsensical an action might be, a librarian might legitimately want to do chained transfers, so we should not disallow that. A librarian might also legitimately want to have a transfer and a reserve going at the same time and choose between them at check-in time. So what is the best way to fix this problem of multiple transfers from multiple sources (branchtransfers and reserves transfers being the different origins of transfers) being all cancelled when one is completed? The current behaviour is blocking other very useful (and paid for) development - and the bug itself causes librarians discomfort quite often in the form of "lost and stuck reserves." Roles for Koha 3.14

Hello. As most of you probably know, the Koha 3.14 release cycle is bearing down on us at the rate of 168 hours per week, so it's time to figure out who is willing to do what for Koha 3.14. There is a good start on the 3.14 release cycle slate at http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Roles_for_3.14 but there are a few holes. Most notably, there is no RM, no TM, and no RMaint for 3.10.x and 3.12.x. When I was initially asked about continuing as RM during the Koha 3.14 cycle, I said I would consider it if there were no better options. I have considered it. I will not run for RM again, regardless of whether or not there is another candidate. Koha works because a multitude of people volunteer their time for the project. Please consider getting involved next release cycle. It can be very rewarding. New signing keys for the Debian packages

From the next Koha release, the signing key for the packages will be changed from its current one to a general package signing key.
