It would be nice to have a glossary of jargon used in the Koha interfaces. Is there a translation wiki for help with a glossary of terms and jargon found in Koha? Could any body help me I installed the koha 2.2.1 succesfully, but when I open it on my Browser on linux 9.2 , the following message is coming:"Access forbidden you don't have permission to access the requested object. circulation.tmpl uncertainty

Hi,  Reserve waiting for    Reserved by  What is the difference between 'reserved by' and 'reserve waiting for'? This is from the circulations tmpl, which makes it slighlty confusing for me since I don't know if this applies only to Issues, or if it applies to Returns/Transfers as well. You'll notice that the other cases accompanying these are under the heading ''. These are cases where Koha requires the librarian to confirm an issue because of some special circumstance. In the example you quote, those cases are related to reserves. There are two different cases a librarian might encounter when someone brings up a book that happens to be on reserve for another patron. The first case is when someone has placed an available item on reserve, but it hasn't been pulled off the shelf and set aside by the librarian. A patron tries to check it out, and Koha warns the librarian that the item is on reserve for another patron (). The returns script and tempalate have their own mechanisms for dealing with reserves too, of course. -- Owen

Hi, I am in trouble. I tried to do a bulkmarcimport and never get it right. Our mission is to make open-source software more accessible to US libraries. On our website, you can find information about Koha and our other products: Mambo Intranet and DiscrimiNet Filter. Our Koha demos couple version 2.2.2's stable code base with a fresh template re-design.
