2.0 release meeting

During our 2.0 release irc meeting, we identified a mechanism for prioritizing bugs currently listed on bugs.koha.org. We've got six that we're considering 'must fix' issues. There are twenty-nine more that are 'should fix', and four that are 'might fix'. 'Must fix' bugs will be corrected before the 2.0.0 release is made. We will try to fix all 'should fix' bugs, but won't delay the relase unduly to do so. 'Might fix' bugs will be fixed if someone manages to get it done before the 2.0.0 release is made. If you have a bug that has not yet been reported, please report it soon. At some point, we're going to start putting off fixing newly reported bugs until the 2.0.1 release. If you think we've mis-prioritized a bug, please let me know which bug, how critical you think it is, and why. STUPID MAJOR BUG in 2.0.0.pre1

Hi, there is a stupid bug in 2.0.0pre1 that broke MARC editor. It's fixed in CVS. If you test with official 2.0.0pre1, PLEASE : * open $intranet/htdocs/default/en/addbiblio.tmpl * search <TMPL_LOOP name="0XX"> This 0XX is repeated 10 times. Replace them by 0XX to 9XX. For example : <DIV name="3XX" id="3XX" style="position:absolute;visibility:hidden;width:90%"> <table width=100% cellspacing=0 cellpadding=2 border=0> <TMPL_LOOP name="3XX"> <<== HERE CHANGE 0XX to 3XX <TMPL_IF name="tag"> <tr background="<TMPL_VAR name="themelang"> ... A brief description can be found at: http://paulgear.webhop.net/linux/#Koha and the RPMs themselves are at: http://paulgear.webhop.net/linux/RPMS/noarch/ and http://paulgear.webhop.net/linux/SRPMS/ I'd really appreciate it if one of the developers could mirror these to sourceforge.net so i don't overrun my 1 Gb monthly quota. :-) I've checked the packages visually, but have done no testing apart from installing them on my machine. Surprisingly, Koha still seems to work. ;-) The RPM spec files have all been hacked in a rather cookie-cutter-like manner from Red Hat's perl-HTML-Tagset-3.03-28.src.rpm. I'm interested to know whether they work for others. Hope this helps some people with their Koha installation. Hi, How can i do change the cardnumber parameters for my own parameters i need introduce my own cardnumber i can´t use the number that koha give me. for example When i create a new member i want put to the member the cardnumber 01062108 but koha is not accept this number... what can i do? Javier
