Hi, I have a suggestion: Why don't we make the following code an include file and insert it whenever need be. While translating I noted it is a redundant code found in many many files. <TMPL_IF NAME="loggedinuser"> <p align=left>Logged in as: <TMPL_VAR NAME="loggedinuser"> [<a href=/cgi-bin/koha/mainpage.pl?logout.x=1>Log out</a>]</p> <TMPL_ELSE> <p align=left><a href=/cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl>Log in</a> to Koha</p> </TMPL_IF> I am not a programmer, though, so this is just a thought. biblio term

Hi all, I have found the term "biblio" ambivalent in many situations. It is used as a noun, adjective . In some places it has different connotations. MARC biblios....and MARC records. In fact I think that biblios and records seem to be the same in the above set. Why don't we then agree to just one word..? But in other places....they are different. My proposal to the authors of the template files is to revise the meaning of biblio. Or.......... if I miss the point, could someone explicate the veriety of the meanings of the term, please..? It's 1 o'clock AM here in Szczecin right now and I may be wrong on this.... I give up on cvs ....

Hi guys, I give up on cvs system.... This is the third time I SPOOKED THE CVS TREE AT KOHA.... My setup is: redhat 7.2, ssh, cvs, cervisia. Today, using cervisia I again spoiled the cvs tree at koha ! And that happened accidentally...or maybe due to how cervisia works....? Anyhow, while in default/pl/intranet-tmpl/ dir I issued command to add both ./parameters dir and the MARC_SUBFIELDS_STRUCTURE.TMPL FILE. What happned is that the ./en directory has gotten ovewritten. I am sorry guys, I withdraw. Minor correction to Good News

Regula and Rosalie, our esteemed creators of the Librarian's section of the manual, had a really good idea for an additional section to the "Library IT Staff" part of the manual. However, if you're translating, please don't halt because of the impending change -- I'll make sure the new item is clearly labeled with SGML commenting, and will be a "drop in" addition.... the new material will be aimed at assisting a library IT staff member in talking to their librarian on the decisions that need to be made before starting an install/changeover, and the a little bit of info on some customization options easier done before an OPAC goes live. On the note of the Good News (and this minor correction).... I was hoping to hear from a few of you by now who were interested in access to the manual source. Hint hint.
