Shouldn't we store the offline circs in their own table, with nullable fields if they need it. Then reconcile them into the issues table? That way we can put the constraints back on the issues table. Thank you Nicolas. I'll use this translation then. On another note, I'm wondering about the single quote. The SQL doesn't like it in "l'interface". To work in the SQL should that be "l''interface"? I ask because I see something similar on another line of the unimarc_standard_systempref.sql file, line 15. It's about the autoBarcode sys. pref. sh: mysql: command not found

Hi, I could install the last version of koha (koha-3.00.01-stable) on Mac os x 10.5.5. But in the third step of the web installation, I get this error : sh: mysql: command not found That is strange as it could connect to the database in the step 2 : Connection established. Database koha exists. User kohaadmin has all required privileges on database koha. This error appears only in the step three while trying to "create the database tables and fill them with some default data" Thanks for yours help, --- Anas

Multi-DB Setup

Good Afternoon All I had a meeting with the librarians last evening and some questions came up? One that seems to be a major thing issue is that fact that most of our barcodes overlap from branch to branch. I read Doug Dearden and Scott Owens posts about multiple branches and DBs and it raise a question in my mind of how many separate DB's can you have running on one server before it becomes a performance hit? We have 7 libraries with an average of 16k items/library. If I put all 7 DBs on server what server specs should I be looking at? If anyone has a similar situation and would like to share their experience please do so. Not sure if this should be on the user side or not, if so please let know and I will ask them as well. Hold slip/notice can't be printed

Hi, Koha version: 3.00.00.107 We can't print the hold notice slips.. It appears that the hold-transfer-slip.pl file is missing and we can't find the hold-transfer-slip.tmpl file as well for that matter. Any suggestions? Thank you. Irma

Cannot run KOHA 3.0 in Debian 5.0

I am trying to run Koha 3.0 in my Debian 5.0 box. I followed this documentation exactly: http://wiki.jon.geek.nz/index.php/Koha/Install But, i cannot run it in my browser. When i inserted "http://127.0.1.1:8080" .. the error came: "*Invalid Request*" Can you help me? -- Best, Zico
