Datepicker: native vs jQuery vs Flatpickr

Hi all, I found myself using the browser native datepicker[1] for a project, and I was wondering if that's something we would consider using, especially since Microsoft has EOLed Internet Explorer. I think we use a mix of jQuery date picker and Flatpickr, but I was curious what people though about using the native one. I used it on my project since it was simple and didn't have any added dependencies. While I haven't tried it, it looks like there is a date time option as well[2]. CSS min-height on body ?

Hi, We face a very strange bug : When there are a lot of libraries (66), when we go to Administration › Library groups Clicking on "Add library" will display a very long combo-box. We can not click on the last ones. Even when scrolling the page stops before the combo-box end. We solved by adding CSS : body#admin_library_groups { min-height: 300vh; } My question is should we had this to all pages ? Hi Liz Thanks for your messsage! As written the original "koha-common" package 20.11.19-1 had a problem (see my first e-mail). Getting Koha 19.11 web installer when installing Koha 20.11.19

String patch needing review to clean a lot the translations

Hi :) It's Bug 30733 - Simplify translatable strings https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30733 The sooner this can be merged, the more work it will spare for translators that are currently working on 22.05 because it's still early enough to be backportable. We have an opportunity to clean a lot of the strings that are an absolute pain to translate. The long ones with tons of %s %s %s %s %s part of which must be retranslated over and over each version when one thing has changed. They can be fixed with the same simple method as Bug 29602 - We must be nicer with translators That is adding <span> tags around the strings to have nice broken down approach. So if anyone can take a look at 30733 even for a partial review of the code that would be awesome. Because this patch would be a huge help for translators as it gets rid of most of the terrible to translate strings. Cheers, -- Victor Grousset/tuxayo

Problem in creating new authority types

Dear All, I am trying to create new authority types in KOHA 21.11 on Ubuntu 20.04. I am following this documentation Create new authority type - Koha Wiki ( https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Create_new_authority_type ) In the section on Zebra, * I cannot understand how the att numbers are defined * I cannot follow the next two steps, which require record.abs file. I cannot find the file. Neither the one in biblios nor in authorities folder. I need to create two authorities, namely, publisher and place of publication to accommodate my existing data which I will be migrating to KOHA.
