Problem with Koha to MARC correspondence

my greetings, I have defined a correspondence between a new field (userid) in biblioitems table and the MARC Bibliographic records(tag 001 Número de control), but, when I insert a new record, the field "userid" is not corresponding with tag 001 value's, it have 0. Sorting >1000 records

Hi all, Does anyone of you know why search results of >1000 records are not sorted well? Is this a zebra limitation? Should I update zebra for that? I am running idzebra 2.0.43 and yaz 3.0.49 with Koha 3.3. Thanks, Marcel

I think stable repository will have revisions 3.4.0, 3.4.1, 3.4.2 ... dev repository will have last build package (containing nearly last source revision). But I see that bug 6713<http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=6713> is not yet integrated. Patch is just send. It will need testing and integration before it is integrated in GIT then debian package. You will have to integrate manually this patch. It is not so difficult. Read it to apply it on source. Remove lines begining with - and add lines begining with +. Unable to get patches .. "detect duplicates not working"

Can any techies help? I know that the detect duplicates was patched (thank you for patching it) .. We used apt-get. However, I did update the packages last week and we are as current as can be. Here is the installed version: KOHA_INSTALLED_VERSION=3.05.00.011 I just tried to do the following: sudo apt-get upgrade yaz sudo apt-get upgrade zebra sudo apt-get upgrade koha sudo apt-get upgrade I get the same result each time: koha-koha@WW-R-ITLWDW1K5M:~$ sudo apt-get upgrade Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done The following packages have been kept back: idzebra-2.0 idzebra-2.0-utils libidzebra-2.0-dev libidzebra-2.0-mod-alvis libidzebra-2.0-mod-dom libidzebra-2.0-mod-grs-marc libidzebra-2.0-mod-grs-regx libidzebra-2.0-mod-grs-xml libidzebra-2.0-mod-text libyaz4 yaz 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 11 not upgraded. Thanks Paul, actually there is no hassle / interaction with the police for you at all. Just something we have to do as organizers. To everybody else, if you are on a tourist visa ( or if you are Indian), its all right not to fill the form as we don't need to send your information to anyone in that case. KohaCon / Hackfest

freenode #koha and #koha-news

By way of announcement, the Koha Community has secured control of the #koha namespace on freenode. #koha will serve as a backup for our main #koha channel on OFTC. Folks coming in channel there will receive a message pointing them to the main channel. #koha-news is simply that, a channel for posting Koha related news. huginn will automatically post any items on the blog feed of www.k-c.org. Feel free to post any other Koha related news there as well. This replaces the historic #kohanews channel which will go away at some unknown point when freenode begins enforcing their new namespace policy. String freeze for 3.6.0

Ok whanau We have hit string freeze, what this means is now any patches that change strings have to be considered quite heavily, because it will make it harder for the translators. Frédéric if you could make the .po files for 3.6 that would be execllent. Now, what is my plan from here, patches that are in signed off state, that don't touch templates, can still go in provided the pass QA. Ones that do change templates, if they are criticals or blockers, they will still go in. Features: My inclination is push any features that are signed off now, or were submitted for sign off before the feature freeze, and that pass qa. My theory for this is, if they miss translation, that can be fixed by 3.6.1 which is only a month later. If they miss going into 3.6.0 they need to wait for 3.8.0 which is 6 months. FW: Git whitespace warnings on DOS files

Chris, Would you mind running dos2unix on the following three xsl files in koha master: [marcel@RKM004 testclone]$ grep -Ulr --include=*.xsl "^M" * koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/xslt/MARC21slim2MODS3-1.xsl koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/xslt/MARC21slim2MODS.xsl koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/xslt/MARC21slim2RDFDC.xsl These three files are the only xsl files in dos format. I could generate a patch for it, but again this will result in lots of whitespace warnings. If you have another idea, please let me know. Applying with --whitespace=strip (or fix) does not make a difference. In both cases the errors are shown, but the changes are applied. I would just like to get rid of the warnings, because they are not valid in this case. In a DOS file (such as this file still is), all lines have CR before LF. When a patch generates warnings, it is likely to be ignored.
