Koha 3.0.5 + cannot print labels

Hi, i have just installed koha-3.0.5. Everything looks cool so far. But, the point is, i cannot print labels from there. When i go to Tools-> Label and Patron Card Creator -> Create a new batch -> *Add item(s) to batch * No windows comes... i mean, after clicking "Add item(s) to batch" .. another window should come.. as i saw in koha-3.0.1 & 3.0.4! But, nothing is coming here!!! Here, i want to add that, My active layout is ok. -- Best, Zico

Need for reindex with Zebra?

In a legacy system that I used to be using we were encouraged to once a year do a complete system reindex to clean things up and make the system perform better. I have not seen any recommendations anywhere on this so was looking for opinions. I'm coming up on a very long holiday that would be perfect for this type of work. Thanks! Will my patches for Bug 3730 (submitted in October) be applied for Koha 3.0.5?

Hi all, I've been monitoring the git.koha.org web site for the 3.0.x branch of Koha: http://git.koha.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=Koha;a=shortlog;h=3.0.x I noticed that Henri-Damien LAURENT submitted the release notes for 3.0.5. So, I assume that Koha 3.0.5 release is imminent and that is great. Multiple Library Search :: Help Needed

Hello all. We have hosted 10 different Libraries at 10 different Public IPs. Now while searching the koha catalog from the OPAC view of any one of the libraries, is it possible to limit the search to one of the libraries we have hosted??? I mean to say that suppose that we browse the opac interface with the IP of Libarary A, then is it possible to select the branch as Libarary B in the limit options provided by KOHA and then get the results from only Library B ??? I have already added certain libraries and group into it. koha 3.0.4 + holdings + "no physical items available"

Hi, in my new Koha 3.0.4 system which running under Debian 5.0; i am facing problem regarding holding issue. Say, i have 5 holdings for some book; now if i search for that book in OPAC; it shows me that, there are 5 holdings but *only one* physical item is showing there... others are showing that... "no physical items for this record"! How can i get rid of this? -- Best, Zico

Help with SQL report

Dear KOHA Users, With the help of Beverly Church at Liblime (Thank You Beverly!!), our library is trying to get an SQL report that we can use for weeding our collections. We are getting closer to what we want, but we have gotten stuck - are there any SQL gurus out there who can help us? Right now we have the following 2 reports. we want to merge them into one report (I'll describe how below). integrating koha with fedora-commons IR

Hi All, Can anyone provide some insight? I have setup Fedora 3.2.1 IRs on multiple TCP ports, including 8080, evaluating various config. options. I'd like to setup a Koha instance, but need to use a non-default configuration (different tcp port, etc). Would I edit koha-conf.xml or koha-httpd.conf before or after the install via perl Makefile.PL ; make ; make install? Hi, Recently somebody on this list wrote to add the line "encoding utf-8 " to /etc/koha/zebradb/lang_defs/en/sort-string-utf.chr. I just discovered that from that time on I have multiple errors in the log of rebuild_zebra like: [fatal] Bad value-set specification [warn] Failed to read character table sort-string-utf.chr It appears that this file also had latin1 file encoding in my OS. Saving it with utf-8 file encoding seems to resolve the situation.. Regards, Marcel

koha 3.0.4 biblio records

Hi, I am using koha 3.0.4 under debian 5.0. The problem is in editing records. If we edit any records, after editing, it shows two same records, both are newly edited records. After that, if we delete one item and if we search for that in OPAC; the error shows: Koha error The following fatal error has occurred: Can't call method "clone" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/XSLT.pm line 57.
