Hello, The "Ecole des Mines de Nantes" funds a suggestion module. How to change the default language of librarian interface

Hello, I have been working with finnish translation of Koha and now I would like to switch the default language to finnish in order to able to proofread my work. How can I do this? There's an option in preferences to change the OPAC language, but no options to change the default language of librarian interface. Matti Lassila

Translating Koha to Slovenian

Paul Polain is the release manager for 2.2 so talking to him about what you plan to work on is a good idea. Just to remove duplicated effort etc. Then there is the rel_2_0 branch, which is where the 2.0.x releases are drawn from. So bugfixing etc should be done in that branch, new features added in the HEAD. M J Ray is looking after the 2.0.x releases. So he's your best contact for work in that branch. When you've had a chat with them, (im sure they will see this message and reply). You can let myself or Pat Eyler know your sourceforge username and we'll give you write access to the cvs repository. Hello: I am trying to locate the issuing date for an item, but it seems that koha does not manage it, as koha works with the return date and the estimated return date (due_date). Is it right or I'm confussed?. Thank you for your help. Pablo

"ISBD" view in OPAC

Hi, in the CVS, in OPAC, a biblio can be seen in 3 formats : * standard format (as previously) * MARC format (almost like in librarian interface in 2.0.0) * "ISDB" format. The ISBD format is done through a systempreference, so each library can define it's own "ISBD". Some french librarians will take care of the UNIMARC ISBD format, but if MARC21 libraries want a MARC21 ISBD, someone must write the systempref. The systempref variable has the following format : * any field is coded like this : [xxxFFFSyyy] where xxx are up to 3 digits BEFORE the field, FFF the field number, S the subfield code, yyy up to 3 digits AFTER the field. * things outside [] are kept as is (including HTML) * repeatable fields are manages. * for security reason you can't put template variable (otherwise something like  could give you the DB password ;-) Example : [200a /][200f - ][(200g] in UNIMARC will give : ================== Title /Author - (copyrightdate) ================== I agree it's now a 100% ISBD format (because separators after and between repeted fields are not managed exactly like in this syntax), but it's OK for most cases -- Paul POULAIN Consultant indépendant en logiciels libres responsable francophone de koha (SIGB libre http://www.koha-fr.org)
