Problem modifying user with new install

Hello all, I downloaded and installed Koha 2.0.0RC1 today. This is the first time I have tried Koha. I believe it is working correctly, however the only thing I did was to try to add two members. I aheven't even tried to add a an item. The members added fine, however when I tried to update the two members, I received an error. The error says: The following fields have a forbidden value. Please push the back button and try again : Invalid_cardnumber I did not change the member number when I created the two users. I took the default number. Is this a bug or did I do something incorrectly? I noticed on the test drive version that Koha also complained about the card number when I tried to edit the patron I created. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but I am running Koha on Mandrake 9.2 using Apache 2. Thank you, Edward Corrado UNIX Admin/Library Systems Manager

rel_2_0 CVS branch

Hi All I have branched the koha cvs tree. The new branch is called rel_2_0 All new features/enhancements should be done in the main trunk. All bugfixing for the 2.0 release should be done in the rel_2_0 branch. This is the new stable tree. Hence no new features should be added to it, just broken things fixed. And of course security fixes like MJ Ray is working on. This would be great to be ported back to the main tree when they are finished. New acquisitions search

When I try the new 'New Acquisitions' search in the OPAC, the results returned are a little off. With items that have more than one copy, each copy shows up on a separate line: These tangled threads / Peterson, Tracie. AF Peterson These tangled threads / Peterson, Tracie. More Search.pm errors

I'm still getting errors from the latest Search.pm when trying to use the OPAC and the Intranet (in particular with the intranet's detail.pl). Here's the error: execute called with 1 bind variables when 0 are needed at /usr/local/koha/intranet/modules/C4/Search.pm line 1381. -- Owen ---- Nelsonville Public Library Koha 2.0.0-pre-x (CVS)

> You should say if it's CVS HEAD or CVS rel_2_0 Sorry, I'm still getting used to the idea of having two branches to think about. I've confirmed, however, that the same error occurs with both. I reverted Search.pm to version 1.82, and that cleared up the problem. -- Owen

kohadoc -> docbook-xml

I just can't get a working sgml docbook toolchain here, so I've converted kohadoc.sgml to xml so I can use the docbook-xsl stylesheets with xsltproc. I've put the file and a sample of the html output on my gopher (URL below) if you want to look at it. I think I botched the upload to the doc manager. Can I upload these to CVS, or is there a better way to make sure 2.0 ships with working docs? -- MJR/slef My Opinion Only and possibly not of any group I know. Is it koha or is it me: removing fields

Similar to the last question: I can't see any way to remove a field in the biblio editor that has been added with a click on the "+" that calls javascript:AddField.
