BUG in biblio DELETION

Hi, The dombes Abbey librarian had problems with biblio deletion. After some investigations, DELETION IS BUGGED. under certain circumstances, it will delete another biblio, not the one you want to delete. Under certain circumstances, it works fine. I won't explain when it works, and when not. Continuing Koha Wiki Site Defacement

During the last few weeks the http://koha.org/wiki has been repeatedly attacked by what appears to be script based page defacement by porn spammers. The attacks are becoming increasingly aggressive. Other wiki sites are currently subject to attack from the same source but I am currently unsure of the scale of this and am making further enquiries. I am posting here to obtain some community feedback/suggestions about this. Please advise if you think the topic should go off list :) Regards, Roger. Z3950 problems with fresh install of Koha 2.0.0RC3

Hello, I'm new to this and trying to set up for a very small private library. I can't seem to get the Z3950 daemon to function. fedora core installation and missing stuff

Hi Group, I've just installed Koha-2.0.0RC3 and I am impressed... Fedora Core missed all the modules required by Koha but they could easily be added via rpms available at sourceforge and from www.indexdata.dk/yaz. The only thingy that I needed to add from cpan.org was the perl-HTML::Tree module which is requred by the translator script v.2.0. It was available there in version 3.18 or so. Now a question: could anyone give me a hint how to launch tmpl_process PROPERLY so I get a UASABLE (sutable for translation) file: opac.pl_PL? Usable meaning without all the fuss of type: bgcolor="#ffffcc"> *****. I am confused about --exlude, LIMITED, and IGNORE flags. It should be obvious that such an extraction of strings from the english version is all the same for every other language... Thanks, Benedict

Cancel the previous note. The fix necessary was in Install.pm, not in koha.upgrade. Sorry about that, Tom Madron The koha.upgrade script still generates the message noted below. The koha tarball that I downloaded today (2/4/2004) did not have the ($) and appeared to be correct. Any further suggestions? Problem upgrading to Koha 2.0.0RC3

Hello all, I decide to upgrade my testing Koha install to 2.0.0RC3 tonight but I am having a problem. I am currently on 2.0.0RC1. When I try to tun the koha-upgrade script I get the following error: [root@localhost koha-2.0.0RC3]# ./koha.upgrade Not enough arguments for Install::getkohaversion at ./koha.upgrade line 17, near "() " Execution of ./koha.upgrade aborted due to compilation errors. Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong? I am running Mandrake 9.2 and Perl 5.8.1. Ed C.

Koha2.0.0RC3 released

As stated yesterday, I've released a 2.0.0RC3 version of Koha. This version is mostly interesting for french users. Other may wait until 2.0.0RC4 (or 2.0.0 final ?)
