KOHA setup for multi-site libraries

Hi, We have four school locations. We would like to use the KOHA Integrated library management system at all these four places. However, we would also like that these systems are integrated, ie each system can display and issue books from it's libraries as well as all the other libraries as well. Also, the student when he/she does a search the results display books availability from all the sites. Typically, the student could request the book from another site as well, which could then be delivered through post/courier. I want to know how where I can get information on setting up KOHA to operate in this manner. thanks kabir.

I'll agree with you. Thinking about it again 6 seconds is pretty bad. I don't know how the authorized_values or icon sets are laid out in the database. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to add the dimensions to the authorized_values. As I recall those are structure something like MARC, so just give some subfield to the dimensions. Having it stored with the iconset would be good too, but I don't know if or where that is in the database. My idea in the beginning was something to this effect. I don't really feel like trying to figure out authorized values right now, but I will look to see if iconsets are kept in the database somewhere other than that. Error when browsing to Koha Admin Page

Below is the error message I get when browsing to the Koha Admin Page. This didn't happen the first time I installed it. Not sure what is different. Anyone have any thoughts? Helping public libraries automate & standardize with Koha..

Hi, We have established www.granthalaya.org a union catalouge of public libraries in Konkan region Maharashtra, India. We have five libraries to start with.We aim to cover as many of the hundreds of public libraries in the region as possible. The site is on Koha 3.0. Our heartfelt thanks to the Koha community for making this possible. Through it we also aim to help public libraries in the region to automate and standardize their operations by helping them switch-to / install Koha, help them to migrate their data from other software to koha, help them convert their Indian Language catalouges into Unicode, train the staff to use koha for all library operations. Please help: MARC error..cannot view in catalog

Dear all, I have problem with koha installed in my XP server. I am trying to add the biblio, and it work.. Launching k's helping hand

Hello friends, In helping a friend install Koha in a location with no Internet access whatsoever, we created some DVDs with everything to get Koha up and running. Soon, more people wanted Koha and we ended up making copies and adding some video tutorials, to make a complete self-sufficient package.
