Itemsprices table

Wrong Link in the credits page

I've found an other broken link in koha version 2.1.2. I've stomped with it a couple of weeks ago, but with my new test server is was able to reproduce the error again. First you shoud be in the credits page: (click about), then click into members, it points to http://koha-server.domain:8080/cgi-bin/koha/members-home.pl and should point to http://:koha-server.domain8080/cgi-bin/koha/members/members-home.pl I've tracked down the bug and can be fixed by editing the file about-top.inc in /usr/local/koha/intranet/htdocs/intranet-tmpl/default/en/includes. Attached is a fixed version of the file, please add it to the CVS, if not just present. It's not something of life and death but could be fixed with little effort. Andres

Missing File

On 14th September I've submited to this list that I've found that the file attached below was missing in version 2.1.1, again is missing in version 2.1.2 While testing the members section of the intranet, in the member search screen, I've noticed that when I clicked the button "add member", i get a horrible crash, a CGI was missing. I've got the missing CGI from a previous install, I've also updated the path that were pointing to the wrong place. The CGI is attached below. The missing CGI should be added in the INTRANET_CGI_DIR/members. Please submit it to the main CVS. Andrés

Physics Library UNLP - features proposed

Hi all At Argentina's UNLP Physics Library we upload "a vision" of the functionality that we propose to be included in 2.4 roadmap. It doesn't intend to be the formal 2.4 roadmap but perhaps could help to see what are we working before the 20 Sep irc meeting. The almost finished functionality includes some screenshots, the idea is to test if is there international interest for each functionality to be included inside an official release (2.4, 2.6 or any we all agree), and diferentiate our local (and only local) requirements. I think we are not in conditions actually to write a formal roadmap or to be a release manager, our plans consists in finish this scheme of added functionality and start testing (Koha 2.X + this features) in a production environment (after all of this we'll take the role of bug reporters/correctors). Please let me know what do you think about the features, what other ideas must we take in account, which things are unclear, what kind of things are very specific and not general, which things reflects a behaviour that must be parametrized, and so on. This "proposal" is not closed at all, one more time we request for Paul help in discovering this kind of things. Hi Just looking at the Administration pages.... This one... Authorized values Define categories and authorized values for them. Authorised values are used in MARC form to limit/help editing MARC biblios. Are these *Only* used with MARC ON? So if you're doing simple acquisitions, MARC OFf they wouldn't be used - even if you're using hte breeding farm/z39.50? Spanish translation

Hi, I'm attaching a .po file with the spanish translation of "css" theme for the opac, VERSION 2.1.2. It's not fully tested. Are the templates going to change before 2.2 is released? To install it execute the following commands (more or less) : # substitute the text inside [] acording to your instalation. # unzip the .po file somewhere unzip opac_css_es.po.zip # create the install directory mkdir [koha_directory]/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/css/es # cd to the translator directory cd [koha_source_directory]/scripts/misc/translator # install the templates. ./tmpl_process3.pl install -s [path_to_.po]/opac_css_es.po -r -l [koha_directory]/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/css/en/ -o [koha_directory]/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/css/es/ #cd to the "spanish" directory of css theme. cd [koha_directory]/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/css/es #copy the remaining files from the ../en/ directory cp -a ../en/images . cp -a ../en/includes/opac.css includes cp -a ../en/includes/basket.js includes cp -a ../en/includes/marc-editor.css includes After this, change the opaclanguages to "es" in the system preferences (inside parameters section). Translation trouble with Koha

Paul, The situation: 1. So far I have translated about 40% of the default_intranet PO file into Bangla (Bengali - bn_IN) for the 2.2 po (from CVS) 2. I wanted to see how accurate the translations were and tried to generate bn_IN templates using the tmpl_process.pl script - ON THE Koha 2.1.3 code the syntax used was `./tmpl_process.pl install - i /var/www/koha/intranet/htdocs/intranet-tmpl/default/en/ - o /var/www/koha/intranet/htdocs/intranet-tmpl/default/bn_IN/ -s default_intranet_bn_IN.po -r` 3. Landed up with a big mess... the templates got generated but in EN! My hunch is that I am doing something insanely stupid out here... any hints? thanks in anticipation -indra. Hi there, Checkpoint sell RFID library automation systems. We want the following features to provide a demonstration circulation system. We cannot be aligned to any commercial circulation system We need a SIP2 interface to all circulation systems. We have a development kit for this interface. We also would like to be able to add menu items that enable the extraction of item information, convert it to a text form and then send it via FTP to an IP address where it is accessed by an item search device We also would like to perform the reverse where we take a text file (from an inventory collection device) and feed it back to the circulation system Is there a plan to add this feature? If not what would it cost us to ad these features?
