You can now get the untested 2.0.2beta0 from the src.tar.gz link on http://www.mjr.dsl.pipex.com/ or by following the tla tag instructions given in the tutorial (with the mjr(a)dsl.pipex.com--koha2/koha--release2--0.2 replacing the webmaster@affs stuff). If you've been following the 2.0.1 archive, this corresponds to patch-8 in that. If you have time and a 2.0.1 server you don't mind damaging, I'd appreciate any beta-testing and bug reports, either on bugs.koha.org or by email. When I've upgraded my server and kicked it around a little, I'll upload 2.0.2release to sourceforge, which will be a faster download. Please only grab 2.0.2beta0 if you really are a beta-tester. It looks like the whole function has been reworked in the latest version. opac-new.pl doesn't even exist anymore. Maybe Paul can suggest how to handle the bug in 2.0. -- Owen

Koha Admin Screens

Hi all, I was setting up a quick demo Koha today for someone and it got me thinking about a better way to layout the admin screens. http://katipo.co.nz/gallery/koha-admin Are some pictures. My general feeling was that there are only a few things you need to set if you're just wanting to put in a few books and see what it does (hence the short list of required settings) But that then the other preferences should be grouped into the area they relate to perhaps? I did think that they could be grouped into "things to do if you've got a big library" and things to do if you don't - but that seemed a bit harder to decide on. Anyway let me know if it appeals - we might give it a try in the Katipo templates first. PLUS are there actually more admin parameters than I've got here.... And are any of them MARC/NON MARC specific - I'd particularly like to not have people setting variables that they don't have to. (minor) problem with translator tool

Hello all, I've translated the french OPAC with the misc/translator/tmpl_process3.pl script. Works fine EXCEPT for strings with a point (.) Could anyone (Ambrose ?) explain what it is due to ? I don't understand the tmplTokenizer.pm at all, and I suspect it's an escape problem. If you want to check with 2.1.3 and french, look at opac-search.tmpl, the sentences in the "hint" box are not translated, all the rest is. I suppose I'd move the Stopwords option onto the Acquisitions/Cataloging page since it's the only option under Searching, but that's just my initial take. -- Owen

Wrong Link in the credits page

I've found an other broken link in koha version 2.1.2. I've stomped with it a couple of weeks ago, but with my new test server is was able to reproduce the error again. First you shoud be in the credits page: (click about), then click into members, it points to http://koha-server.domain:8080/cgi-bin/koha/members-home.pl and should point to http://:koha-server.domain8080/cgi-bin/koha/members/members-home.pl I've tracked down the bug and can be fixed by editing the file about-top.inc in /usr/local/koha/intranet/htdocs/intranet-tmpl/default/en/includes. Attached is a fixed version of the file, please add it to the CVS, if not just present. It's not something of life and death but could be fixed with little effort. Andres
