Is it possible to use buildrease script without for it to update the CVS? For example: I have just downloaded the CVS tree and want to build a release tarball for it. thanks Benedict

Hi, When one checks the Koha DB and Marc DB it says: itemnum: the field itemnumber is mapped to a field in tab -1 Is this OK? Benedict

mysql charset and template charset

Hi dear group, I have doubts which I would like to clear out. I haven't tried Koha in real life yet but wanted to know what will happen when the translation is done with charset=utf-8 and MARC data that I would like to import into KohaDB and MarcDB will be in iso-8859-2? How will the search results display in such a system? Normally the diacritics do not dispaly correctly if the browser is set to utf-8 and the text is of different kind. Thanks Benedict

ISBN search in opac, no go?

Hi, Why is there not an isbn search input box in advanced search option? The barcode search is there but a user doesn't know the barcode by which to look for items. Shouldn't it instead offer an isbn search? thanks Benedict

Koha Wiki Update

Koha Wiki will be off line for approx 24 hours to allow for server maintenance and software update. The koha wiki was orignally thrown together very quickly using a pre-existing, shared mysql database. During the maintenance outage I will export all existing koha data from shared database and create a new, koha only database. I'll provide more detailed information as soon as server upgade is complete. In the meantime, you should be able to view an alternative copy of the koha data here: http://www.saas.nsw.edu.au/saas_wiki/index.php?page=KohaProject Best not to add new data to this database until the new koha wiki comes on line tomorrow.
