Bug in Mail::Sendmail.pm used in Koha

Hello, I have found that Mail::Sendmail.pm contains a bug which *might* prevent mail from being sent at all on some systems (e.g., my own). This is related to conformance to the RFC821 standard (section 4.1.2, "Command Syntax"), so whether the bug affects a particular Koha depends on how strict the SMTP server is regarding syntactical correctness of SMTP commands. I am trying to contact the module's author about the problem. Accounts and Reports

request.pl script has probably some flaws

Hi, there probably is a certain irregularity in the return.pl script. Could anyone check why charset (in spite of being correctly displayed in a browser source window as, in my case utf-8) defaults to iso-8859-1. Character encoding on a browser pulldown menu switches to iso-8859-1, although in the source window it is what it has been set to through include file probably. It doesn't happen to other windows (templates). thanks a lot. Benedict

However, I think the assumption is that if no error message appears, and the book shows up in the list of returned items, it was returned successfully. -- Owen

call number prefix

Hi group, I noticed there's a call number prefix while cataloging a book but there's no Call Number feature in Koha tables (this is my guess). How do you cope with that in real life setup? Benedict

is opac-detail.pl buggy?

After a user reserves a book he can click on its tile and see more. ISBN number is available as clickable. If followed the system says it has not found any items by that isbn number. Benedict This question is also related to what I asked some time ago. Could ISBN search be made available to unauthenticated users for them to search by isbn?

super improvement of translation tool

Hi Group, I just wanted to thank Abrose for his latest improvement of the translation tool that uses xgettext and ./tmpl_process3. It is now a lot clearer where a given string is in a context of a template. Especially have a look at this example: * %pF %p M     <B>Date of Birth</B> (%s) %S Kbabel (translation tool for KDE) gives me a hint in a separate window like this: #. %1$p: type=radio name=sex value=F #. %2$p: type=radio name=sex value=M #. %3$s: TMPL_VAR name=dateformat #. %4$S: type=text name=dateofbirth #: /home/kb2qzv/CVS-Cervisia/koha/koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/default/en/members/memberentry.tmpl:30 #, c-format Now, this is really lot easier to translate, knowing that %p is a radio button, %s is a value of TMPL_VAR, and %S deriving from an INPUT type=text.
