We are saddened to share the passing of Tiago Murakami, one of the main
contributors to the Koha Portuguese (Brazil) translation project. Tiago was
responsible for almost completing the translation, making Koha accessible
to countless Brazilian libraries and their users.
His dedication to the project helped ensure that librarians across Brazil
could work with Koha in their native language. The impact of his
contribution will be felt by the Brazilian library community for years to
come.
We extend our condolences to his family and friends. Tiago's work stands as
a lasting contribution to the Koha community and to open-source software.
