Hi Bernardo , the translation process is very perfect ^_^ and the result is very good thank you for your great efforts to perform this I think there is some problem the parameters in the URL I fell like its not standard how could we solve this ? I mean if some one go to Patrons & Circulation in the main manual : http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/en/patscirc.html the end of the url is : patscirc.html<http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/en/patscirc.html> but in our work http://es.koha-community.org/manual/files/ar/ch01s03.html is : ch01s03.html<http://es.koha-community.org/manual/files/ar/ch01s03.html> I mean in the future we may have to take user to online help in his language so this may could be done easily by make the lang code variable in the our example : http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/ar/patscirc.html<http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/en/patscirc.html> have to take the user to Patrons & Circulation in the Arabic manual and http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/es/patscirc.html<http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/en/patscirc.html> to the Spanish one so I think the problem may about how we are generating the html files I sent this to the translation and doc mailing list to encourage more people to translate manual to their languages Best wishes Karam

Koha Manual translation site

Dear all, we configured a site to help in the translation of the manual. We have a pootle installation, and you can also download the manual in different formats. The site is available at http://es.koha-community.org/manual/ It only works with the current version of the manual, 3.8.x, but we could add the new version in the future. The languages available are from those present in the repository kohadocs.git, we could add as many as required. But we do not use the translated versions. So for those who already have a translation is not very useful. But we believe that in the long run it is better to work this way, as new versions of the manual are incremental changes respect the old, and will be easier to keep up. Hopefully this will be useful to the community, and that someday this work can be integrated into the main translation site of Koha. String freeze for 3.8.5

Hi All I will not be pushing any more patches that involve string changes from now on, until 3.8.5 is released on the 22nd of September. Frederic when time permits can you update the 3.8.x po files in pootle please. Thank you Chris

Ghost suggestions on Pootle?

Hi, a short question: my koha3.6opac translation (fi-FI-i-opac-t-prog-v-3006000.po<http://translate.koha-community.org/fi/36/fi-FI-i-opac-t-prog-v-3006000.po/…>) seems to have 89 "hassuggestions" but nothing to check (neither at the subtitle links or through the hassuggestion-hotword on the list), do you see the same: http://translate.koha-community.org/fi/36/review.html What should I do? This possibly affects my Poedit work, because downloaded and opened at Poedit the fantomsuggestions come up as SOLID translations. Has any of you encountered similar thing and did you solve it or find a workaround? I took Lokalize. And I recommend it --------------------------- Cheers, .k.blomster
