Beta version of Koha 3.0

Hello! It was announced, that the string freeze for the beta version of Koha 3.0 should be 1. february, and the limit for the final release 1. march. The last date is drawing nearer, but I can not see any announcement on the beta version, and http://koha.org/ only shows the alpha version. Is there a delay? If yes, when will it be released? Will then the limit for the translators also change, then, since we have not had the possibility to test the beta version :-/ Best regards Axel Bojer

strings " and ' in translations

Hello, some strings that have to be translated comes from the javascript part of Koha. In the javascript, those strings where enclosed by " or '. Thus, if your language contains a " or a ', the page won't work anymore (javascript error). I have updated all templates to have only 1 enclosing tag, the ". Thus, please consider the following rule : NEVER use " in your translated strings. It will work for standard strings, but will result in a blocking bug if the " is in a javascript part of Koha. Stafus of Koha 3 Translations (final week before the beta!)

Hi all, Just a quick reminder that we're rounding the final week before Koha 3.0 Beta is put into general release. Many of you have made excellent progress, several languages this past week were 100% completed. We're still at about 20% completed overall, but that's because several of the translations are OPAC-only, and several folks have written to say they plan on working on the staff client translations between beta and stable, which is fine of course. I do request that for your submission to be accepted for the beta (or any release really), you have translated at least 50% of the interface you're submitting.
