Dear Koha Translation Community Members, We are writing on behalf of the Municipality of Portimão, Portugal. We have been using Koha as our library management solution since 2018 and are now very keen to actively contribute to the community. Our objective is to help maintain the quality and completeness of the Portuguese (Portugal) (pt-PT) translation on Weblate. Our team of librarians and technicians is familiar with the necessary terminology and is committed to reviewing and translating missing strings. Our translation team consists of 3 members who have already created accounts on the Weblate platform. In Memory of Tiago Murakami

We are saddened to share the passing of Tiago Murakami, one of the main contributors to the Koha Portuguese (Brazil) translation project. Tiago was responsible for almost completing the translation, making Koha accessible to countless Brazilian libraries and their users. His dedication to the project helped ensure that librarians across Brazil could work with Koha in their native language. The impact of his contribution will be felt by the Brazilian library community for years to come. We extend our condolences to his family and friends.
