Translator tool, changing ?

Hello koha-devel & koha-translate, Users translating Koha to french are regularly reporting that pootle is a poor tool, not very efficient. Someone suggested transifex, that is free for OpenSource softwares (https://www.transifex.com) I just opened an account, created a koha project, added french translation for 3.12 It seems *much* more friendly & efficient than pootle. Is there someone wanting to investigate a little bit more this tool ? My changing role...

To my friends in the Koha community, I have accepted a position outside the library community, and will be leaving ByWater Solutions as of March 8. It has been an incredible almost-five years for me, working on Koha, and getting to meet so many of you virtually and in-person. I say without reservation that some of my best friends on the planet are Koha people, some of whom I have never met in person. I will continue to serve as Translation Manager for the rest of the 3.12 release cycle; I would like to stay involved in Koha after that, so once I see what my workload will look like, I'll decide whether to run for another term. Arabic Koha translation for koha 3.12 !

Translators - Koha Docs Not Stable

Just a note to the translators that there are errors in the translated manual folders that need to be patched: http://jenkins.koha-community.org/job/Koha_Docs/ If we're not using folders anymore and we're using another way to translate the manuals please let me know and I'll delete those folders and the errors will go away :) Nicole

v3.12 project added to Pootle

I've taken the latest Koha "head" code, and updated the PO files, and put them on the translation server, so you can get started, and maybe avoid *some* of the rush prior to the Big Freeze!
